We’ve had a few busy days. Yesterday we went off to the Olympic park, pin trading and to see the sights. Sadly we didn’t have time for the Orbit. We will make sure to get to the London Eye instead. Spent the whole day in the sun, got a tan, won some pins, lost some pins but had a good time. The games are ending now, but the Paralympics are on the way.
Samsung had a wonderful pin contest going for anyone who loves to collect. The idea was to collect all 49 special samsung pins, themes of London and the Olympics. After collecting all the pins (with a little pain) the first 100 people win a new Samsung Galaxy S III. Then a draw for a trip as well. Lucky to say that my mom; Carol was the very last person to win the phone. Congrats to her an her hard work.
“The six colours (including the flag’s white background) thus combined reproduce the colours of all the nations, with no exception. The blue and yellow of Sweden, the blue and white of Greece, the tri- colours of France, England and America, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, the yellow and red of Spain next to the novelties of Brazil or Australia, with old Japan and new China. Here is truly an international symbol.”
Opening to the 2012 Olympics…Let the games commence.
“The best video no one in America ever saw.”
Don’t forget you can watch the Olympics Live on BBC. I know I’m watching a lot online even though I’m here in London. With so much happening at once, I’m dual watching some event!
